Automated tissue processor

The EMS Lynx II automated tissue processor enables the automatic batch processing of multiple samples from fixation and dehydration to resin infiltration, reducing manual handling by at least 75%. Samples are loaded into baskets and mounted on a sample arm that moves from one reagent to the next which have been previously loaded into 25-mL plastic vials on a reagent carousel. Samples can be agitated and/or subjected to a vacuum for better reagent penetration into the tissue.
