Effective Communication for Scientists
Good professional collaboration is based on effective communication. Miscommunication can lead to misunderstandings which cause displeasure, disrupt the work flow and lower productivity. Through Applied Improvisation one can learn to communicate effectively by practicing to change perspective, delivering messages in a way that they are understood as intended and staying in control throughout a presentation or difficult conversation. Exercises in the training are based on scientific findings, which we will discuss during the workshop.
