MorphoGraphX is an open source application for the visualization and analysis of 4D biological datasets. Developed by researchers, it is primarily used for the analysis and quantification of 4D live-imaged confocal data. Development of this software contniues as collaboration with the lead developer Richard Smith.

The main research interests adressed by MorphoGraphX are:

  • Organ and cell shape extraction
  • Growth analysis
  • Fluorescence signal quantification
  • Protein localization
  • Extracting simplified cell geometry for modeling
