MorphoGraphX is an open source application for the visualization and analysis of 4D biological datasets. Developed by researchers, it is primarily used for the analysis and quantification of 4D live-imaged confocal data. Development of this software contniues as collaboration with the lead developer Richard Smith.
The main research interests adressed by MorphoGraphX are:
- Organ and cell shape extraction
- Growth analysis
- Fluorescence signal quantification
- Protein localization
- Extracting simplified cell geometry for modeling
MorphoGraphX is currently developed in Richard Smith’s group at the MPIPZ Cologne. The work is supported by:
