Annual Science Day 2024

On 12 September 2024, we celebrated our internal Annual Science Day again. The all-day symposium offered a comprehensive insight into the research work of our research groups at the MPIPZ.

Our researchers presented their current projects and exchanged ideas about the latest findings. The talks reflected the broad spectrum of plant research conducted at the MPIPZ, including adaptation mechanisms, evolutionary processes, gene regulation, plant-microbe interactions and reproductive strategies. An inspiring basis for lively discussions and new ideas.

The breaks gave the opportunity to participate in the poster sessions. Our PhD students and postdocs presented their research and provided exciting insights into their projects. Posters from our non-scientific groups also offered a great opportunity to learn more about the work and support provided by our administrative and service departments.

The symposium once again showed how valuable internal exchange is for scientific development and for strengthening interdisciplinary dialogue.
