Main Focus
I joined to
Hancock's Group in September 2016. I obtained my MSc degree from
Izmir Institue of Technology under the supervision of Anne FRARY and
Jens ALLMER. I mainly worked on de-novo genome assembly and
identification of new genomic markers for three crops including:
Spinacia oleracea, Faba bean and Corylus avellana.
Furthermore, I also worked on identification of genes/pathways for Boron
hyperaccumulation in Puccinellia distans. Currently, my
main interest is to understand genomics of structural variation in
African Arabidopsis.
