The Leica STELLARIS 8 Multiphoton is an advanced confocal system combining tunable IR multiphoton excitation with TauSense lifetime-based imaging. It features highly sensitive HyD X and HyD S hybrid detectors for low-noise, high-efficiency detection. With TauScan and TauSeparation modes, it enables fluorophore discrimination and environmental sensing based on fluorescence lifetime. The system offers flexible galvo and resonant scanning, providing deep-tissue, high-resolution 3D imaging with minimal photodamage.
