Arabis Symposium 2018 in Cologne
After the workshops 2009 in Grenoble and 2013 in Zurich we would now like to invite people interested in the Arabis genus to join the symposium at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne.
We would like to bring together scientists who work on Arabis alpina or its close relatives in order to discuss recent progress, current projects, ideas and future perspectives.
The symposium will cover a wide range of topics, including natural variation and adaptation, ecological and landscape genomics, mating systems, regulation of flowering, perennial growth, biotic interaction and others more. Participants will have the possibility to present their work either in talks or posters.
Please register until mid of September (15.9.2017) if you want to participate and tell us whether you like to contribute with a talk or a poster. Talks and posters will be selected according to the abstracts with the aim of covering as wide a range of topics and labs as possible.
The meeting will start on Monday (5.2.2018) after lunch and end on Wednesday (7.2.) after lunch. On Tuesday evening there will be the possibility to have dinner in a typical Cologne "Brauhaus". We will also organize a guided tour on the "Kölner Dom" for Tuesday afternoon, provided enough people are interested.
We are looking forward to seeing you all!
