Hitachi HT-7800 TEM
The Hitachi HT-7800 transmission electron microscope enables high-magnification and high-resolution imaging at the subcellular level. It is fitted with an LaB6 electron gun and two cameras, one CMOS camera for high-speed screening and a 20-megapixel main camera for high-quality image recording. A motorized, side entry eucentric goniometer stage allows for electron tomography, a versatile method for obtaining 3D reconstructions from tilt series of images. With the help of the auto multiple frame capture system, up to 16 images can be automatically stitched on the fly.
