Mainak Dasgupta -  INSA Young Scientist Awardee 2018

Congratulations to Dr. Mainak Das Gupta. He was recently awarded the Indian National Science Academy Medal for Young Scientists in recognition of his contribution to the understanding of leaf development in molecular, tissue and evolutionary contexts. Mainak carried out the work at the Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru) under the supervision of Dr. Utpal Nath.

The INSA Young Scientist Award by the Indian National Science Academy (New Delhi, India) is awarded annually to honour talented young Indian scientists in recognition of their outstanding contributions in any branch of science or technology coming within the purview of the Academy.
